We have a flat rate of $0.03 USD per square inch + tax for any quilt design.Example: 60 x 80 = 4,800 inches4,800 x $0.03 =  $144The minimum charge is $50. This does not include the cost of batting.We can accept a quilt up to 116" wide.

Typically our turnaround time for each quilt is 2-3 weeks. If you need it sooner, we do our best to offer rush services with a 48 hour turn around time. Please reach out to inquire if this is currently an option. The rush service cost is $50.

We stock high quality Quilters Dream and Winline batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% bamboo and 100% deluxe cotton. We are happy to order specialty batting for you. Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.We charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls (93" wide) of batting (except in the case of 100% Bamboo and special orders).  I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 6" margin) and charge per inch.For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 66" of the batting of your choice.        66" of 100% cotton deluxe loft @ $0.63/in = $41.5866" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.43/in = $28.38Please note: this is only an example and these prices are subject to change. See the "Book a Quilt" form for the current batting prices. You also may supply your own high quality batting. Please allow a minimum of 3" overage on each side.

There is no right or wrong choice when it comes to batting. Here are a few guidelines, but don't over think it. Trying a variety of battings with your quilts is a good way to decide your favorites.100% Deluxe Cotton: Very breathable and is great for summer or warmer climates. The deluxe cotton is a weightier loft that will give some extra warmth and help your quilting design to pop. As with all cotton, there is some shrinkage (3%-5%), but that's a win if you love quilt crinkle.80/20 Cotton/Poly Blend: Breathes well and has less shrinkage, which may be a bonus if shrinkage concerns you. More wrinkle resistant and is a great multipurpose batting, along with being the most cost effective. 100% Bamboo (6 oz.): Soft drape, very light and breathable, and is great for summer or warmer climates. While it carries a higher price point, bamboo is often a favorite among quilters. We carry a higher loft, which will help your quilt to photograph beautifully.

Absolutely! Soft and Stable will give your bags a beautiful professional finish. While Soft and Stable is not currently available to purchase in our studio, you can bring your own for us to use. Please remember this still requires a 4" overage on all sides. Check out our Gallery page for some great examples!

Yes. We are happy to piece your backing for $10 per seam. If you need it pattern-matched, the charge is $15 per seam.We love the simplicity of extra-wide backing and strongly suggest considering it for your quilt. *We do not piece minky (and strongly prefer to use only extra wide minky).

We do not offer binding services at this time.

We do not charge any extra fees for thread.Our personal style favors neutral thread. We aim to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. However, this is YOUR quilt! We are happy to special order thread if you would prefer a specific color.
